The Corona issue has generated a wealth of knowledge about the global infection situation, data collected over time that we can only ever evaluate situationally. We were able to observe during the process that in politics, the press, and Data evaluation is never objective and is always motivated by personal interests. Our everyday lives are directly impacted by the statistics we read, the data we gather, and the computations we perform. drastically noticeable times. The only way for art to respond in this situation is by a counter-design reaction: the datafication of the intangible, making it readable on a computer and transforming it into an aesthetic object that fills space and is lighted with an infinite number of possibilities. The Corona crisis changed society for the better. The meaning of symbols of liberty and equality has changed. They are structures that in our century have not yet undergone a similar modification. been put through in this century. On the day "after," we look at devices that make outs, hands that signal, and data that can be examined with scientific accuracy. We must have faith that things will get back to "normal". Because we still lack the ideals for something else, there are no alternatives.

Intermediate was produced in 2007 in the context of the exhibtion Volksgarten. The Politics of Belonging. 1 kilometre 28 metres, 5 minutes 26 seconds, more than 100 buildings become 16,300 images. Images that never look alike. Always new moments, always different people make an endless collage. Scenarios of a day – image per image – are combined to a new whole. What connects each of them is the rigid movement of the tram. A ride along the boundaries of Lend and Gries as a part and as an observer of this urban structure, until you leave it to come back later.

A tray constructed of concrete and a mass of stones were used to create the sculpture. At the estuary where the Mur meets the Danube, stones have been gathered. The "soft" nature of the stones is a result of their shaping during transit. Hidden speakers are used to play recordings made throughout this journey.

A RGB-Lamp descends a tower every day at a set time. The color of the light varies throughout the journey. Few people even notice the shift. The fade is being recorded by a machine, which creates a digital recording of the process and saves it.

    London, Heathrow, UK
A device with a security camera and telephoto lens gets real-time information about the location of aircraft in the airspace of London Heathrow Airport every second. The machine attempts to "shoot it down" by calculating the aircraft's position. An algorithmic graphic analyzes the shot. If the attempt is successful, both the shooting and the photo are posted online. The project critically examines the relationships between social media, big data, surveillance, technology, and terrorism.

  • Look mum, I saved a rainbow!
The work addresses how the digital translation of analog values results in the loss of original information. In this way, two incompatible storage mediums are placed side by side. Digital interpretations were used to translate the nanometer values of the rainbow's colors—which span the human-visible color spectrum—into red, green, and blue values. As a result, 256 RGB values were generated, which is the maximum that an 8-bit array can store. As it was already used to construct data sheets in the third century CE, each unique value was first recorded on a floppy disc and then manually imprinted using a quill and long-lasting archival ink. The utilization of the floppy disk, magnetic disc writing, and human labeling with long-lasting archive ink and a quill all play a continuing role in the process. Two sets of 256 floppy discs inscribed by hand with durable archive ink Series no. 1 is sold as a whole with 256 discs and a wooden bar clamp. Series no. 2 will be sold only online in 256 individual pieces
